Inés Brill

Practice Leader for Capacity Development Cluster

Inés has over twenty years of development experience in areas of humanitarian affairs, social development and disaster risk reduction. She has served as a civil servant, executive director of NGOs, co-founder of several NGOs, and a consultant for international agencies.  Inés has also acted as the Head of Office of UNOCHA in N´Djamena, worked with the United Nations Office for the Humanitarian Coordinator for Iraq (UNOHCI) in Baghdad, and most recently, with OCHA in Geneva. Inés has a Masters in Development Studies and is a Doctoral Candidate in Development Economics at Sorbonne University, France.
 
  

Christianna Pangalos

Capacity Assessment Specialist

Prior to joining the UNDP, Christianna worked in various capacities ranging from working with a Canadian NGO (MEDA) in Tanzania, USAID in Rwanda, and the World Bank in Washington D.C.  Her academic background is in International Relations with an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. from Georgetown University. She has studied seven languages: French, English, Greek, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Swahili.

 

  

Gert Danielsen

Aid Effectiveness Specialist

Until recently, Gert was working at the Regional Centre for Eastern and Southern Africa in Johannesburg. He previously coordinated the Norwegian MDG Campaign and various Conflict Management programs. Gert has an M.A. in International Relations and Spanish and an M.A. in International Relations, Peace & Conflict Resolution from the Universidad del Salvador. He is fluent in Norwegian, Spanish and English and proficient in French and Portuguese.
 
  

Ginette Rodríguez

Programme Associate

Ginette has previously worked as an Administrative assistant for the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Panamá, the National Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation for the Panamanian Government, and as a program assistant for The National Dialogue 2007.  Ginette has an MBA from Lindenwood University in Missouri.
